About us
Like every good Italian pizzeria, we are a small, family-run business. We are based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire and we have a huge passion for all things Italian.
Laura is a secondary school teacher who decided to learn something new and explored the art of sourdough pizza making at "The Dough House" in Stratford-upon-Avon. It is here where Laura became skilled in making (by hand) Tigelle - a traditional street-food from the mountains near Modena, deep in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy. Laura was fascinated by their simplicity and history and explored how to bring these to Warwickshire. After importing a special Tigellerie pan from Bologna, Tigelle breads have become the "USP" of Prego's offer.
Served with a classic "tricolore" of Italian chopped tomatoes, mozzarella, rocket and our home-made basil pesto, our Tigelle are the perfect snack. We always have a range of Italian meats to add to your Tigelle, so if salame napoli or proscuitto is your thing, just shout! we would be happy to add what we have fresh, in to your Tigelle - you can make it your own!

Our dough
Our Tigelle dough is hand-made by Laura, using all Italian ingredients, fresh on the day.
Due to the volume of Pizza's we sell, we sadly cannot make our own dough. Instead, we are proud to work with world renowned Dallagiovanna. They make the dough, using their freshly milled flour in Piacenza, Italy. We are so excited to be visiting the Dallagiovanna mill in 2026.... we can't wait to share our journey with you!
